Wahooo! Waterpark, the Middle East’s first-ever temperature controlled indoor/outdoor waterpark, is launching Tiny Turtles which is a mother and baby sessions. A swim program created exclusively for mothers and babies within the waterpark.
After a very successful trial session held this week for Mums in Bahrain, with more than 40 mums with their babies or infants (all below three years of age) attending the Tiny Turtles sessions. It has been widely supported by research that the stimulation for infants and toddlers provided by water play can boost a child’s intelligence, concentration, alertness, and both physical and mental abilities.
We have created the Tiny Turtles sessions at Wahooo! so that mothers in Bahrain have a secure, fun and hygienic environment in which to bond with their children while increasing the child’s comfort and confidence within a water-based environment. Qualified Instructors certified by the Swimming Teachers Association, a UK based awarding organisation that the UK Government approves and are accredited by Ofqual. Tiny Turtle sessions will involve both the mother and her baby within the water participating in pre-swimming practices that will build the child’s confidence within the water and active sing-a-long nursery rhymes to make it more entertaining. The first Tiny Turtles session will commences on the Tuesday 22nd October 2013 from 9.30am till 10.30am and will be free of charge.
